Kind In All His Deeds
Yahweh is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them. Yahweh keeps all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. Psalm 145:17-20
Note that modern Bibles have replaced YHWH ("Yahweh") in the original Hebrew with "the LORD." However, the Bible already has words for "Lord," in Hebrew: "Adonay" (usually spelling Adonai today, which seems to also change the pronunciation?) and in Greek: "Kyrio". The original words most often used for "God" were "Elohim" (which is plural, indicative of the triune nature of our God) or "El" (and"Yahweh" is sometimes shortened to "Yah.")
His name has power (He is the one great, eternal I AM, as His name conveys), and so changing the personal name "Yahweh" to the generic term "the Lord" is not a good thing, in my personal opinion. I wish the translators had kept the names as they were in the original text which was inspired by Yahweh. He told us His name and at no time did He forbid us to use it, except in vain.
