Heart Hold Fast

Hear, O sons, a father’s instruction, and be attentive, that you may gain understanding, for I give you good precepts; do not forsake my teaching. When I was a son with my father, tender, the only one in the sight of my mother, he taught me and said to me, “Let your heart hold fast my words; keep my commandments, and live." Proverbs 4:1-4
This life is short, but there is One (and ONLY one) who offers eternal life, and His name is Jesus. Here you will find encouragement and Scriptural inspiration for your walk with our Beloved Savior. Because we believers are being prepared during this one lifetime to spend eternity with our mighty, living God in the next, nothing could be more important. All else will fade away.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:15-17
For those who are unfamiliar with scrapbooking, the pages made are called “layouts.” The digital scrapbook "world" has a regular practice where they choose a “layout of the day” to feature (which is an honor). The name of this page is “Layout for Today” because there is one per day (but the words “of the” [day] were intentionally not used, because the point is to bring honor and glory to God, not to any person).
